PC Hardware Standards

All PCs should be purchased through Dell, as they are a preferred vendor, and our staff are trained in hardware diagnosis and repair for all Optiplex/Latitude line machines.

Dell PCs are the only supported desktop for CoM-IT tech support.

All Dell PCs currently under warranty will receive attention based on the Service Level Agreements document. 

All OUT OF WARRANTY Dell PCs will be classified as a severity level 5 and directed to ComputerFixer for repair (Technical Support will open the ticket with ComputerFixer).
