Department Mission
In support of the College, the mission of Drexel University College of Medicine Information Technology is to promote and integrate the technologies necessary to advance education, research, healthcare and public service. We are committed to providing leadership and support for the effective use of technology.
The Information Technology department is a key component of Drexel University College
of Medicine's reputation for excellence in academics and continuing education,
clinical enterprise, applied biotechnology, and women's health and leadership,
along with its ever-expanding research enterprise.
CoM-IT is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in:
On demand accessibility to information and tools: administrative, clinical, and research systems and databases, learning environments, internets, full-text resources and medical images.
Quality client service: service center, training, consulting, supported products and partnerships.
State-of-the-art enterprise-wise infrastructure: strategic planning; communications and technology solutions; computer labs and classrooms; and desktop computing services.
CoM-IT facilitates informational technologies through the networking of people, information and resources.
